Optical Glass

We use around 5 different types of glass to produce lens ended and clear glass envelopes. The correct choice of glass is required to match gas fills, meet spectral demands and withstand environmental conditions such as sterilisation procedures.
Our bulbs incorporate the highest level of glass purity in order to avoid optical disturbances caused by bubbles, wall thickness variations, scratches or other non-conformities making them ideal for technical applications such as colour measurement devices or medical diagnostic instruments.
